Our Music

Music is a Ministry

Psalms 98:4 – Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth; Break forth and sing for joy and sing praises.

Upcoming Events

The IPC Chancel Choir will be singing their last anthem of the spring on June 7.  Come celebrate the wonderful ministry of these men and women before they break for the summer!  We have many guest soloists coming to join us during the summer months, and the choir will resume again in August.

Music at Immanuel

The music program at Immanuel Presbyterian Church is dedicated to serving the Lord and ministering to its congregation and community through music.

  • Do you sing or play an instrument?
  • Are you experienced with audio equipment?
  • Have you participated in stage productions?
  • Do you have a passion for music but are not sure how to get involved?

We have a place for you! Whether your musical interests are traditional or contemporary, there are many ways you can be a part of the music program at Immanuel. Contact Daniel Blosser for more information at danielcblosser@gmail.com.

Chancel Choir

For over one hundred and thirty years, the Chancel Choir of Immanuel Presbyterian Church has been providing quality worship and choral music in Clifton. In addition to singing for Sunday morning worship at Immanuel, the choir has performed many choral masterworks and has participated in several collaborations in the greater Cincinnati area. Recent performances include Vivaldi’s Gloria, Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s Creation and Vaughan Williams’ Five Mystical Songs. In 2013, the choir premiered a new work entitled Voices of Light commissioned by local composer Carrie Magin.

The choir is always open to new members! No audition is required. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 7:30-9pm and Sunday mornings at 9:45am. Anyone with an interest in singing should contact Daniel Blosser for more information. Come and sing praises to God with us!

Praise Band

The Immanuel Praise Band plays once a month for Sunday morning worship and is always looking for new members. If you sing or play an instrument and have a heart for praising God, we would love to have you be a part of this exciting ministry.
